Pins of the Week

                                                                        Marni for H&M

Love these bright pink ends! My future summer hair look for sure.
Next time you go shopping, opt for a different color besides boring white or black like neon yellow and make a statement!

My favorite look of the week.

Tshirt Dress

My studded ankle cowboy boots

                                                                  Some of my cuter faces

Everyone has an oversized tshirt or two, whether it's memorbilia from summer camp or your boyfriend's old tee (as in my case). Good news, you don't have to throw these away anymore or keep them hidden away in the back of your closet! Introducing the tshirt dress...which can be done in three ways. Pockets (cinch it with a belt!), front tie, and back tie. I can't sew so this is perfect for me. Just check out the youtube video below. I added some southern flair to my outfit with some cowboy boots and a cropped jean vest.

I was going to talk trends on this post, too, but I don't want to fry your brain with too many fashion week pics. I know I have a headache from staring at my computer all day long. So I think what I'll do instead is talk about them when we're actually about to begin the season of fall 2012 so no one forgets and plus it'll be a little refresher. Toodles!

AZEALIA BANKS - 212 FT. LAZY JAY

I'm not sure if I'll post music more than once, but I just had to let you listen to this. The sweetest-looking girl with the dirtiest mouth ha. Amazingness. Definitely play this at your next party.

Pins of the Week

It's no secret that I'm an avid Pinterest user. But if you're any sort of fashionista, you're way behind if you don't have one. It's the easiest way to get major inspiration all at one easy to use website. Hair, beauty, fashion, and DIY projects are all there for your viewing pleasure. TONS of them. You can even follow Michael Kors and the genuises at A Pair & a Spare and P.S-I made this (both insanely good DIY blogs.) So I'm starting a "Pin of the Week" post to show you guys my personal pins and inspirations. Hope you likey!

A Pair & a Spare is one of my favorite DIY blogs. This chick is so creative. I don't know how she does it. But here is her latest post: suede fringe anklets. All you need is a couple of materials to take your boring shoes into show-stopping shoes that make people do a double-take.

Red lips are everywhere right now. I can't wait to try this look out with black and white "going out" look. It's something unexpected, especially for college girls. Something as simple as a lip color can really make you stand out from the crowd and complete a look. Now I just have to run to the store to find the right shade for my skin tone. Maybe pics up later?

These DIY nails are from the ladies over at College Fashion. The tutorial is really simple and the fun take on the french manicure is perfect for Valentine's Day. The best part is no nail-art polishes are required. Just use your favorite pastel colors, using the brush to create these cute hearts! You can find the step-by-step here: http://www.collegefashion.net/beauty-and-hair/diy-nail-art-inspired-by-conversation-hearts/

P.S. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about NYFW! I've been keeping up with it on a daily basis and the shows are blowing me away. I'll have my favorite looks/trends by the end of the week!

Jason Wu for Target

This is what I found at my Target in Greenville, NC. Eh, not much. Of course by the time I got there at 4:00 lots of things had been pretty much picked over. Not surprising if you remember the whole Missoni for Target madness. I don't think the Jason Wu for Target collection really compares to the magnitude of press that Missoni brought Target. Or the quality of pieces. I don't know if it's just not my style or what, but I wasn't a huge fan. Let me know if you disagree.

THIS stuff, on the other hand, was also at Target. It's from Target's own brand Xhiliration. I was bored with Jason Wu but when I found these pieces I was like a kid on Christmas morning. I know neon gets hated on sometimes, but I personally am obsessed with it. I hope it never goes away. And these tribal print shorts are just on a whole 'nother level. Of course my dumbass goes in there without any money on me. So now I'm left to merely post about them when all I can think about is what I'm going to wear with them in the spring, which I'm so ready for now. *Sigh*

This particular bag looked kind of familiar. The picture on the top is the Target brand for $24.99 and the one on the bottom is the designer version from the Cambridge Satchel Company, which goes for around $150. I'm so excited I found this!

Stop the Presses!

Where the hell can I find these shoes? Can anyone tell me this? I know the answer seems obvious. Hello, Kohls. But I've been on the hunt now and they're not on the website. Looked there. They're not in the stores. Looked there, too. They need to be in my closet and they're not. This is a problem.

Long Hair Don't Care

This is what I wore for a group presentation I gave. I was feeling rock and roll but had to put the blazer on so I seemed somewhat professional. "Seemed" being the keyword there. I had to beg my boyfriend to take me out to shoot these pictures. It's been a while. And school, unfortunately, is winning the battle for my time. Although blogging is putting up a good fight. I find myself checking my Bloglovin account (that reminds me, please follow me on Bloglovin!) in the mornings when I wake up for my 8 a.m. classes instead of getting ready. Which is another reason why it's hard to post...who has time to look cute when they have 8 a.m. classes? Not muah. But on another note, you don't have to tell me that I need a haircut. It's been since like uhh August? Yeah, I'm in serious need. But what exactly should I do with it? I'm the type of girl that goes to the hair salon with an idea in mind and then I end up getting the same plain haircut I do everytime. I don't have the balls to change things apparently. That's my ramblings for the day ha. Enjoy!
