Ketchup+Mustard

This has to be my favorite post so far. It makes me feel like this thing I dreamed up is really coming along.

Big changes are coming for me as the semester is starting to wind down. All of my roomies are graduating so I had to find a new place to live. So me and my NEW roomies are currently looking at houses and found one close to campus that is beautiful. I'm also starting a new hobby: skateboarding, if you can believe it. I always thought that those girls that you see skating down the sidewalk to class were the coolest chicks ever. So I just hopped on my boyfriend's longboard the other day and decided I was going to do it. That's been the trend with me lately. Just decide on a whim that I want to do something and jump into it right away. The spontaneity thing is a nice change for me I think. I can already go really slow without falling. Baby steps. And everytime I'm on it I change the lyrics of the Avril Lavigne song "Sk8er Boi" to "she was a skater girl" and sing it to my boyfriend. I still can't believe the title of that song is spelled that way. The journalism major in me.

Pink Sunday

Who would have ever thought that pink would be the go-to hair color of the moment? Well it definitely is, and in full effect. And it's no longer strictly for the Katy Perry's and Nicki Minaj's of the world. This look is everywhere from fashion blogs to editorial looks to celebrities on the red carpet. Hey, if it's good enough for the red carpet, right? So maybe it's time to re-dye those ombre ends (I know, makes me sad, too) for a more "look at me!" look of the moment.

Some Thing-a-mah-jigs

I'm alive! Or my blog still is at least. Spring break has now come and gone and I've been busy readjusting to school (hence the lack of posting). I went to Panama City Beach last year so this year I decided to lay low and just go back home to Richmond, VA. 804 shoutout real quick! These are the clothes I picked up during my spring break shopping outings. Didn't do much but I at least got to go to my fave not-so-pricey stores, Forever 21 and Plato's Closet, which is a little cute thrift store where you can get the most amazing finds. So, as you can see, I bought a yellow sleeveless button-down, a blue feather dress and black romper from Forever's current Rory Beca line and a striped bandage skirt. The fur vest and accessories were thrifted. I'm obsessed with the fur trend right now, faux fur of course, and I found this jewel from 7 bucks (whaaaaat?) Bonus: I'ts from H&M. The lightning bolt necklace I'll probably wear every day. Can't wait to start wearing these pieces and show you guys how I style them.

After a hard week of school, all I really want to do is go out with my friends and have a good time. And of course be fashionable while doing just that. So this is me and my drunko boyfriend (notice the double fistin' of the beer.) I wore a flowy button-up top, one side tucked into the front with a pair of structured jean shorts and ah-mazing heels that will be viewable in a later post. I kept my nails trendy with a pink ombre and added the new RED LIPSTICK I bought to my makeup routine. What do you think of the color?
